Thanks Caroline

Birthday weekend.....Uncle John came to hang out, made a special dinner, went to two parties, kids went to grandma and grandpa's, went out with Joseph, came home and got sick!!! So did most of Caroline's class, Anthony, and Uncle John.......thinking it was the piggy flu since John got tested for it in KY. Yuck! We still love you though!!! :)

Looking Back and Ahead

I'm lucky to have such a loving husband and family that God has given to me to enjoy. Looking back I remember this day with lots of warm memories....my grandma watching all her great grandchildren run around (last wedding before she passed away), Joseph's family & friends enjoying the beauty of KY, my 4 cute flower girls who are teenagers now, my brothers all taking a turn dancing with me to an Elton John song, dreams of starting a family with Joseph, finding our first teaching jobs....ahhh, so young and in love. :)
Well, now we are making a point to date more, to keep why we got married in the first place alive, juggling taking care of three growing, fun, hungry all the time, learning about Jesus and how to love one another even when I don't feel like it beautiful gifts from God. Life is Good!

Missing Camping...

It's too cold to go, but I do miss it. We went to Sessions yesterday to go on a hike. It was beautiful with all the leaves changing colors and the sun! I didn't have a chip in my camera so no pictures. :( We are thinking about going again to take some. These pictures were taken in Ludington....we had a great time fishing in our little rental boat. Anthony's fish he caught qualifies him to be a Master angler. He cant wait for his patch to come in the mail. We had a great time and cant wait to go a bunch next summer. I am glad we didn't go though this past weekend. It would have been FREEZING! Camping will just have to wait...........

Into the Swing of Things

It's taken a little while, but I think we are in the groove of school life versus summertime. Anthony did not like school at first and Caroline is questionable depending on how tired she is, but for the most part, we have better attitudes. Don't ask how they are after school, but I can understand, going to school all day is a lot of work! Anthony was excited today to bring his pet, Fuzzy, to school to read to. Caroline loves being the student teacher. And Matthew, as we approach Rather, he says, "Here we are!" We're definitely getting there......I just wish they would sleep in on Saturday mornings! :0) ha ha, nothing is perfect!!!!
