You have grown so much in a year and changed a lot! We finally grew those bangs out for the most part...yay! Your favorite things to eat are chili, tacos, chips and cheese. She has a contagious laugh, generous heart, and is a great big sissy to Matthew.

First Grader, Second Grader and Mister Trouble

So far, the big excitement has been Caroline talking about the marble jar they are trying to fill up in her classroom to earn a party and Anthony getting to chew gum in the afternoon in his classroom. They are happy campers! As for Mister Trouble, he is still failing potty school miserably.

Been Awhile...

Well, I guess summer is officially over tomorrow, so maybe it's time to say good-bye. I really do love fall, it's one of my favorite times of year....pumpkins, sweatshirt weather, apples, doughnuts, cider and tractor rides. I have a warm feeling in my heart for this time of year, but oh my, we will miss the beach.
The kids are all loving school and Matthew & I are lovin' our time together. Here's to a fresh new start to another school year.....Yay!

Go Daddy Go!

We were at Sleepy Hollow this past weekend to watch Jofiss swim in his first tri relay. He finished in 15 minutes and made his goal. We are so proud of him! I think we may be doing more of these in the future. The director said they do kid ones too. We were all impressed and learned a lot!

Fun Beach Day!!!

We went with the Heinlien family to Hoffmaster... a great day with lots of sun (mostly)! We had the boys grill hamburgers and then bring us lunch on the beach. It doesnt get much better than that! An awesome day that we must repeat, repeat, repeat!!!!

Ludington Camping Trip

We had a great time hitting the beach in Ludington this past weekend. We even did breakfast in the parking lot of the beach one morning. Our kids wake up early, hungry and loud, so we decided to go where we could be FREE! Priceless.....man, we are getting to be smarter parents each year. :) We love you, beach!!! We'll be back soon.

Kindergarten Graduation

Cant believe this year has come and is almost over now. Caroline you have grown up so much during kindergarten. You can read now, add, stay at school all day long without calling home sick (ha ha), and do so many other independent jobs without being asked. You have made some really sweet friends that I hope you'll have for many years to come. I am proud of you and love you very much! Woo hoo! You made it!

That time of year.....

Caroline and her friend Jessa.....so cute to watch, smiling, and hopping around trying to scoop up the ball. Dainty and so much fun! What is not so much fun is 7:30 p.m. games!!! We have our first one tonight, so we'll see how this goes over. The good thing is there isn't too much school left. Or is it good? I'm not sure how we'll fill up our time, but I'm sure we'll find stuff to do. We always do. Yay, for summer!!!!

Baseball Time

Anthony is playing rookie league this year. You love hanging out with your friends think outfield is boring. I cant blame you on that one! You have one of the most interesting batting stances I've ever seen. The coaches have tried teaching you the correct way to hold your bat, but you insist on doing it your way. And I dont know how, but you hit the ball pretty much every time you are up to bat. We are enjoying watching you play and seeing you grow up!

Science Fair

Our ducks got to go to Rather! Anthony wrote about how ducks hatch from eggs and how you take care of ducklings. He did a great job on his writing piece.

Meet Crash

We had a beautiful day at the Whitecaps game this past Sunday. We had perfect weather, perfect box seats, awesome company and food. The highlights were watching Franky the pig for Matthew, meeting Crash the Whitecaps mascot, soaking in the sun, eating dipping dots & cotton candy, goofing around with Micheal and Kevin, and the grand finale, running around the bases! It was so much fun!

A Little Late

Anthony...we finally got your friend party in at the end of April. I think it was worth the wait though. We designed t-shirts, grilled out hamburgers, opened some fun presents, ate some cake, and then headed out for some fishing. A very fun filled Friday night! Boys are so easy to entertain! ha! :)
