Getting ready for Easter.......

We've been playing with bunnies, making & eating Easter cookies, decorating the house, talking about what Jesus did for us, and getting ready for our Spring Break trip down south to Kentucky. The kids are going to be with family while we spend a long weekend in Vegas celebrating John and Mandy's wedding. We're all excited to be planning our trip and packing! Yea!

The Best Gift

The kids made these crosses today at Sunday School. Anthony looks slightly disgruntled, but it makes my heart happy knowing that they are learning about Jesus & know that He died on the cross for their sins. Happy Lent!

Bugman

Anthony gets excited about things (just recently, looking on the internet for cool bugs) & then he will carry the treasure around for days, sleep with it, put it in special places to avoid destruction from Matthew & then find something else to ponder about. I wonder what this means for your future? Hmmm.......

Butterfly Bungalow Time

A fun day at the gardens......lots of butterflies and very tropical! Even though we have had a sickie week in our house, it was fun to get out and enjoy the first signs of spring here in Michigan. For the first time, Anthony had a butterfly land on top of his head and Caroline had one kiss her on her sweater. She was pretty freaked out, but Anthony thought it was cool. Click on the pictures and you can see the butterflies better. As for Matthew, he tried to turn on the sprinkler! He'll be my maintenence man for sure.

Lovin' it!

OK, Caroline doesn't look like she's lovin' this weather but we are! She was just whining about a snack, but there are so many more distractions outside and this makes me so happy. It was great to see friends outside & talk, go to the park, watch Matthew splash in mud puddles, and hear birds chirping. Come on, Spring! I'm ready for you.

Hurricane Matthew

Matthew actually started all this fun. Anthony and Caroline couldn't resist and decided to join in. He gets into everything these days and is just wearing me out! His latest obsessions are turning the T.V. on/off a million times a day, climbing on the chairs and getting on our table, markers, the trashcan (pulling things out or throwing who knows what in there), doors (he can open them and go down our side steps towards the basement which freaks me out), and toilet brushes! Matthew, I love you buddy, but I'll be glad when this phase blows through!
